95 Points Halliday Wine Companion Apri 2026:
Mid-ruby in the glass with inviting aromas of damson plum, wild strawberry, dark cherry and some lovely raspberry top notes. There's a nice juiciness to the aromatic profile with expressive fruit tones layered with medina spice and hints of wildflowers, gentle nutty oak, pomegranate, crushed rocks, vanilla bean and a base of dried game meats and undergrowth. Layered and spicy on the palate, which shows plenty of clarity and complex pinosity. The tannins are fine and gravelly and there's a long draw of flavour on the finish
95 Points and Gold Medal International Wine Challenge 2026:
Deep crimson colour, blueberry and vanilla aromas. Appealing and well-balanced, with layers of succulent wild fruit, but also elegant and complex.

93 Points and 5 Stars, Sammy Wilkinson, The Winewriter, April 2026:
Juicy, ripe and delicious, blooming with violet florals, red and black cherry, and black plum, with a delicate dusting of cinnamon and wood spice. Concentrated and confident... Cracking wine.
93 Points & Excellent, Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, April 2026:
Aromas and flavours of ripe cherry and blackcurrant fruit, there’s a fine savoury spice adding complexity and depth.
95 Points Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, August 2025:
Gorgeously styled and expressed, the wine shows dark plum, rich floral, thyme, smoked game, and hazelnut aromas on the nose. It's richly weighted with refinement and finesse, wonderfully complemented by velvety texture and fine-grained tannins, finishing splendidly long and satisfying.
92 Points Steven Wong MW, The Real Review April 2026:
Noticeably ripe with the suggestion of sticky date pudding and caramel on the finish, this is a decadent, blockbuster style of Central pinot which will provide mouth-filling fruit richness over the mid-term.
18.5/20 pts (93 pts), Candice Chow for Raymond Chan Reviews, September 2025:
Moderately deep crimson, even colour throughout. The nose is gentle and elegant, with aromas of blackberry, cherry, plum, thyme and spice. Medium-full bodied, aromas of blackberry, plum and cherry entwined with thyme, vanilla, cinnamon and mocha. The dark fruit is succulent with good depth, layering detailed spices and enriching the silky mouthfeel. This dark-fruited Pinot Noir is well-structured and elegant. Match with lamb rack and roasted duck over the next 8 years. Fruit from Pisa sub-region, 100% destemmed, fermented in barrel to 14% alc, then aged in barrels, 28% new French oak. Vegan friendly.
