The grapes for this limited edition wine were left on the vines approximately six weeks after the main pick of Pinot Gris grapes in the vineyard resulting in a magnificent Vendanges Tardives style of wine, very similar to the great wines from Alsace with a new world twist.
This late harvest Pinot Gris has soft floral notes mingled with loquat and tropical fruit aromatics on the nose. A concentrated wine with a lush spicy palate full of warmth and softness leading to a strong persistent finish.

This is gloriously complex and opulent, while remaining stylish and engaging. Lifted aromas of mango, fig, lime marmalade and honey lead to a sumptuous palate that is richly fruited and subtly sweet, backed by bright acidity. It is multi-layered and symphonic, and finishes extremely long and gratifying. At its best: now to 2020.

This floral, gently sweet wine was picked at Pisa, in the Cromwell Basin, six weeks after the main harvest. Bright, light lemon/green, it is weighty, with vibrant, peachy, spicy flavours, hints of pears and ginger, a slightly oily texture, and excellent richness and smoothness.
