International Wine Challenge 2020

The Nevis Bluff Pinot Gris 2017 has been awarded a GOLD MEDAL & the Nevis Bluff Pinot Noir Reserve 2015 has been awarded a SILVER MEDAL at the International Wine Challenge 2020.

Tasting notes from the judges noted:

For the Pinot Gris: Very attractive with ripe tropical fruit flavours; pineapple, mango, peach, orange peel, pear and spice with a waxy lanolin edge.

For the Reserve Pinot Noir: A very pretty wine with tertiary notes of woodland and mushrooms. Broad and round on the palate with tobacco and red berry flavours.

The IWC is accepted as the world's finest and most meticulously judged wine competition which assesses every wine blind and judges each for its faithfulness to style, region and vintage. Throughout the rigorous judging processes, each medal-winning wine is tasted on three separate occasions by at least 10 different judges.
