Australian International Wine Challenge 2019

The Nevis Bluff Reserve Pinot Noir 2015 has been awarded a GOLD MEDAL at the Australian International Wine Challenge 2019.

Tasting notes from the judges noted "Dark spicy whole bunch aromas with a nuance of toast, violets and mineral drive. This is followed by an elegant
mouthfeel with lots of depth, interest and persistence.".

The AIWC is an offshoot of the IWC which is accepted as the world's finest and most meticulously judged wine competition which assesses every wine blind and judges each for its faithfulness to style, region and vintage. Throughout the rigorous judging processes, each medal-winning wine is tasted on three separate occasions by at least 10 different judges. The same standards were applied to the Australian competition. We have also sent this award winning wine to the IWC 2020.
